mORK - Mobile Amtgard ORK - A mobile Amtgard ORK app for players and administrators
mORK is a mobile application for the players and administrators of Amtgard. mORK allows players to see a summary of their character and to easily upload a new ORK photo of themselves. mORK also allows a player to display a QR code of their account to their Chancellor for easy sign-in. Players can create and share Spell Lists from the 4 caster classes in Amtgard.
For Admins, mORK allows them 3 easy ways to sign in players for their daily or event credits. You can simply search for the character name, you can scan a QR code, or you can scan an NFC tag written by the mORK application. Typical NFC tags look like a plastic employee card or a small key fob sized disc.
mORK will allow anyone to write a players unique profile to an NFC tag as well to make sign-ins super efficient.
mORK talks directly to the Amtgard ORK and thus needs a data or wifi connection in order to function. You'll also need your ORK login information. If you don't know this or need help with it, talk first to your park Chancellor or your Kingdom Chancellor. They can ensure your email is updated so you can issue your own password reset.
